[ 01 ]ABOUT THE PROJECT

Zuri Health is a comprehensive Hospital Management System (HMS) designed to streamline healthcare operations, ensuring an intuitive and seamless experience for various medical professionals and patients.

// PROBLEM STATEMENT

Ops are messy. Tools shouldn’t be.

Managing hospital operations efficiently is a challenge due to complex workflows, multiple user roles, and the need for real-time data access. Existing solutions often focus on specific functionalities without providing a holistic, user-friendly experience for all stakeholders.

(hot take: “enterprise” shouldn’t mean “extra clicks”)

// GOAL

Care-first workflows.

To create an intuitive and functional HMS that simplifies hospital workflows, enhances collaboration between healthcare professionals, and improves patient experiences.

(design mantra: fewer taps, safer handoffs)

  • Lab techniciansManaging test requests and delivering results.
  • AdministratorsBilling, patient data, and hospital operations.
RESEARCH QUESTIONS(no trick questions, promise)
  1. 1What are the biggest challenges hospitals face with digital management systems?
  2. 2How do doctors and nurses currently interact with HMS solutions, and what difficulties do they encounter?
  3. 3What pain points do patients experience when booking appointments or accessing records?
  4. 4How can lab technicians efficiently manage test requests and results within the system?
  5. 5What functionalities do administrators need to oversee hospital operations effectively?
